Group Cluster Manager

Starting my career at JPL in 2013 as a Christmas Casual, I had no idea that it would lead to such an impactful and fulfilling professional journey. Initially, my role was temporary, but it quickly became clear that JPL’s commitment to teamwork and innovation would shape my career aspirations. As I transitioned into a Casual Sales Assistant position and then a Part-Time position, I gained valuable experience and grew more confident in my ability to contribute to the Company's success. The dedication of my Managers and colleagues encouraged me to take on greater responsibilities and fuelled my desire to continue learning and improving. Becoming Store Manager in 2017 was the next stage of my career progression, this is where I learnt to manage a team and oversee operations. In 2020, I moved into a Multi-Site Store Manager role, expanding my responsibilities, and honing my skillset in managing multiple Team Members and my operations of stores. By 2023, I was promoted to Group Cluster Manager, where I now oversee multiple stores and lead a team of Managers. My journey has been full of challenges and growth, and I remain committed to further developing my leadership abilities. I’m eager to continue progressing in my career at JPL, mentoring others, and contributing to the Company’s growth and success.”

“I began my career at JPL in 2023 as a Christmas Casual, unaware of how this experience would lead to a fulfilling and impactful journey. Initially hired for the holidays, I was soon offered a permanent position, which fuelled my ambition and allowed me to develop valuable skills.  In early 2024, I transitioned to a Casual Sales Assistant role, and my confidence grew as I learned more and became increasingly committed to contributing to the Company's success. Encouraged by my Store Manager, who saw my drive, I stepped up into the Assistant Manager role just six months into my journey. At 20, I’m proud to be an Assistant Manager, supporting my team, training others, and taking on managerial responsibilities. I’m grateful for the support and opportunities JPL has provided, and I’m excited to continue growing in my leadership abilities and contributing to the business’s success.”

Initially, I took the role to get through high school but quickly discovered my passion for the work and the fulfillment it brought. In 2017, I transferred to Angus & Coote, where I gained valuable experience and developed a strong foundation in customer service. In 2019, I was promoted to Assistant Store Manager, and I embraced the added responsibilities, growing more confident in my contribution to the Company’s success. By 2020, I became a Store Manager, taking on leadership responsibilities, managing a team, and driving results. Over the past 10 years, the JPL Group has provided incredible opportunities for growth, and I’m grateful for the challenges and support I’ve received. I’m excited to continue progressing and see where the future takes me.”’
